I am a life-long learner who has spent the last decade sharing my excitement for the pursuit of knowledge with students from all walks of life. I foster caring, nurturing environments where young people are given the encouragement and resources to pursue their highest potential.
I graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University with a double major in French (with Departmental Honors) and English. I have taught English abroad in France, Central America, and South Korea. I am fluent in French and proficient in Spanish, and am personally passionate about literature, theatre, and film. I have been tutoring since I was 17 years old and honed my craft while working in New York City for a prominent college prep agency.
I launched StoutHeart in 2018 to serve students across the globe. My counseling helps students uncover their natural gifts and interests, succeed in their scholastic endeavors, while also giving them an iron-clad advantage as they embark on the college application process.
